Rev. Brian Gruhn, Interim Pastor
|
Rev. Gruhn has been in local church ministry for nearly 20 years, serving from Southern Arizona all the way to Southern Maine. He and Emily Skinner are blessed to be the parents of three wonderful children: Roan (5), Maggie (2.5), and Hadley (almost 6 months), as well as their beloved Black Lab, Sadie (not pictured, 9). In the last two years, Brian received a “new call” from God to journey with local congregations in non-traditional roles, in order to assist faith communities in acheiving particular goals that make them joyous ports of harbor for spiritual seekers in this moment in human history. It is all too easy in this moment to feel anxious and frustrated by the state of the world around us. We are called to be Disciples of the Living God, and God called us into being to show others how to LIVE even in the face of constant tragedy and escalating crises. So he is very excited to be partnering with FPFC for the next 3 years, nurturing the Spirit that is so strong in this community, that God’s dream of loving-kindness for all life will spread throughout South Berwick and beyond!
